The Academy of the Holy Cross, a private, Catholic high school for young women, cherishes tradition, celebrates the moment and is alive with vision for the future. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Holy Cross blends a rich tradition with a contemporary outlook. Sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross and in continuous operation in the Archdiocese of Washington since 1868, AHC has been at its present location since 1956. Recent renovations to the classrooms, chapel, computer lab and library keep the learning environment current. In the fall of 2003, the Academy inaugurated its Arts and Sciences wing and Theatre which nearly doubled the size of the school.
