This one is
especially for Seniors! Even if you never got the
gist of Dewey numbers, that’s what you’ve been using
in our library and most public libraries. Now,
you’re getting ready for college, and the LC, or
Library of Congress classification system. It works
on the same principle, but has letters. Instead of
the Dewey system with 10 (Decimal System – got it?!)
main subject areas, it uses the letters of the
alphabet as its basic classifiers, and has 21 main
areas.
