Dear Holy Cross Community and Friends of the Academy:

As Chair of The Academy of the Holy Cross Board of Trustees and the AHC Search Committee, I invite you to participate in our process of seeking qualified candidates for the position of President.  Earlier in this school year, you received a copy of Sister Katherine’s letter of resignation and my response on behalf of the Board of Trustees. On this web page, you will find links to these letters and to other information about the AHC President Search.

As you know, the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross sponsors The Academy of the Holy Cross and the Board of Trustees governs AHC. The administration of the Academy is delegated by the Board to the President and by the President to the appropriate administrators. The Board of Trustees has the responsibility to recommend a candidate for President to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross for approval.

To assist us in our search and selection, The Board of Trustees chose Education Strategies, Inc.  I ask for your prayers for the Search Committee, the Trustees and the entire Holy Cross community.

Your voice is very important as we move forward to maintain our innovative spirit while staying true to our mission of educating women of courage, compassion and scholarship. Periodically, we will post an update on the progress of the Search Committee.
