During the first week of Fall classes, students are assessed on the summer reading by either a written test or book report. In addition, summer reading forms the background for class discussions.

 

Summer Reading is not required for all courses.

Assignment:

Write an essay explaining why St. Edith Stein's spiritual journey, growth, and her arrival at the truth of Christ, make her a positive role model for young women.
