Music Class Auditions	Students interested in taking any of the advanced music classes during the 2008-2009 school year must attend an audition session next week. Auditions for Show Choir, Honors Show Choir, Madrigals and Honors Madrigals will be held during both lunches on Tuesday, January 22 and Wednesday, January 23. All auditions will be held in the Theatre. Please see Mr. Yuran for more information.
Notes From the CSC Office	Students who are tutoring at St. Gabriel’s on Tuesday, January 29 should stop by the CSC Program Office and pick up a permission slip from Ms. Green. Students who are interested in working with Ms. Green on the Appalachia Trip 2008 in West Virginia the week of June 14 -21 should see Ms. Green this week. There will be an informational meeting before the end of January.
Summer Jobs	We have received information from US Aquatics and the City of Gaithersburg about pool positions for summer 2008. Please see Mrs. Stowe in Room 119 if you are interested in more information.
Tickets on Sale	Tickets for “Little Women” are available from Mrs. Power in the Business Office today through Friday. Tickets are $10.00 each. Performances are Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19 at 7:30pm and Sunday, January 20 at 2:30pm.
Go Tartans!	Come on out on Friday, January 18 when the Tartans face off against Good Counsel at home! Freshmen take to the court at 4:00pm, followed by JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 7:00pm. Come to the game wearing purple and support your team. Don’t miss the excitement!
Second Chance	If you did not get a chance to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation last week – there’s another chance. Father Larry Young will be here tomorrow during both lunches to hear confessions in the Chapel.
“Frog and Toad” Reminder	Auditions for the Spring musical, “A Year With Frog and Toad” will be held on Tuesday, January 22 at 4:00pm and Wednesday, January 23 at 3:00pm in the Theatre. Students should sign up on the callboard for an audition slot. All students auditioning need to pick up the required paperwork from the callboard and bring it, completed, to auditions. Students Enrolled in a Theatre Class: Students should sign up for a slot on Tuesday, January 22 and prepare a one minute monologue, as well as 16 bars of a song. Students should also attend dance auditions on Wednesday, January 23. Students NOT Enrolled in a Theatre Class: Students should sign up on the list for auditions on Wednesday, January 23 and prepare nothing! Be sure to bring comfortable shoes and clothes for dance auditions. Plan to stay until 6:00pm. Please see Mrs. Ruszkowski if you have any questions about auditions.
