Performing Arts

ITS and Tri-M applications are due to Mrs. Ruszkowski no later than 3:00pm tomorrow, Friday, April 4. You may turn them into the box in the Theology Office or bring them to the Performing Arts Club meeting this afternoon.

Students going on the Appalachian Service Trip are reminded to turn their deposits in to Mrs. Wass in the Business office by April 15. You must also return your commitment form to Ms. Green as soon as possible.

Amnesty Action

AHC’s Amnesty Club is participating in Amnesty International’s annual Week of Student Action. This year the aim is to urge the United States to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facilities. Please stop by the table at lunch today to sign the petition to President Bush and/or the letters to your Senators. Please see Mrs. Westfall for more information.

 

 

Essay Contest for Seniors

Attention Seniors:  In light of Pope Benedict's visit to Washington, DC, the Catholic Standard is sponsoring an essay contest.  The Writer's Award

provides a $2,000 college scholarship and the opportunity for the winner to have her own work published in the newspaper.  Writing a 1,200 word essay discussing the importance of the Pope's visit to Washington, DC for young Catholics could win you $2,000!  Please see Ms. Merriman for the entry form. The deadline for submission is May 1.
