To get the summer ball (golf ball that is) rolling the AHC Fathers Club hosted the 11^th Annual Tartan Classic at Hampshire Greens in Silver Spring, Md. Despite the hazy, hot and humid weather, teams competed for to win the awards for Low Gross (first and second), closest-to-the-pin, longest drive (men and women) and straightest drive and a pre-game putting contest. The spirited camaraderie of the teams, including many AHC current and alumnae fathers, was evident as usual. Many sponsors helped defray the costs of the tournament including Boone and Sons Jewelers, Inc., The Columbia Bank and Central Safe and Locksmith, Inc.
