Backstage Opportunities and Audition Information

Backstage Opportunities

The Performing Arts Department is proud to have a thriving group of dedicated students who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our shows come together.

As a matter of fact, the number of students working backstage on an AHC production is often even greater than the number of students in the cast!

Interested students may apply for Production Staff positions in stage management, costumes, props, scenery building / painting, lighting, sound, hair/make-up, and dramaturgy.

Very qualified students may be chosen to serve in such leadership capacities as Production Stage Manager, Assistant Director, Assistant Technical Director, or other technical area leadership positions.

To get more information, sign up for a tech interview, or to obtain a Production Staff Application, check out the callboard hallway - located backstage just off of the theatre lobby.

Audition Information

All auditions require students to sign-up in the callboard hallway, as well as to submit a signed Production Contract on the first audition day.
