Athletic Training

Ricky Sorlouangsana works with student-athletes in the Tartan training room. He is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) as an Athletic Trainer and is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Before coming to Holy Cross, he served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at George Mason University working with Women’s Soccer and Men’s Volleyball. Mr. Sorlouangsana has been at Holy Cross for over ten years and is a full-time employee. He attends all home events, providing injury evaluation and treatment, first aid and emergency care. Throughout the year, he provides rehabilitation for injured Tartan athletes.

Lightening Safety Policy
League policy states that all outdoor athletic activities will be suspended immediately when the first sighting of lightening is observed or thunder is heard. Once activities have been suspended, wait at least thirty minutes following the last sounds of thunder or lightening flash prior to resuming activity or returning outdoors. All team members, coaches, spectators and officials must leave the playing field.
