Last summer’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was truly an amazing experience for all of us here at The Academy. The audience turnout and response was positively overwhelming and the many beautiful gifts and letters we received from friends, parents, and cast members after the close of the production was touching. All of us here at The Academy left the production with a great sense of pride and excitement - we can’t wait to begin work on the next Summer Stock production!

This summer, The Academy of the Holy Cross will be producing Seussical, music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrensns and book by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty.   This show features some of the most popular characters, creatures, places and things from the beloved Dr. Seuss books and has become a favorite all over the world. We would like to invite you and all of your friends to join us for a wonderful summer of theatre.   Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, April 17^th at 10:00 am and Saturday, May 1^st at 10:00 am so mark your calendars!  Auditions open to anyone 10 years of age and above so bring a friend to the auditions!  Please arrive by 9:30 am in order to complete all the necessary paperwork.

The rehearsals will run Monday through Friday, June 14^th through July 8^th from 5:00-10:30 pm with performances on July 9^th and 10^th at 7:30 pm and additional performance on July 10^th and 11^th at 2:30 pm.  The total cost of this four week semi-professional and educational summer stock experience is $300 for anyone under the age 18 years, except the paid teen internship positions.
