While our faculty and staff lead the way in providing our daughters with a first-class education, it is the contribution of the Home and School Association (HSA) and the Fathers & Friends Club that support the many traditions that make being a student at Holy Cross so special. From the Communion Breakfast to the Senior Tea and more, the HSA helps create the memories that will last a lifetime for our girls.
Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to get involved in the many volunteer opportunities available. This is where you’ll meet your Holy Cross parent friends, or perhaps find your table for the Benefit Auction and Gala. It’s through these volunteer experiences that we build our Holy Cross parent/guardian community. Join us!
Fathers & Friends Club
The Fathers & Friends Club is an active group of dads/guardians and friends who coordinate activities that enrich the lives of our daughters and help the Holy Cross community. Their signature event is the Fathers & Friends/Daughter Dance but they also work as parking attendants at dances, coach Powder Puff football and serve a morning bagel breakfast, among other things. Fathers and Friends gather quarterly to socialize, foster friendships and plan events.
Mothers & Friends Club
The Mothers & Friends gather to lead many great activities at the Academy such as Mother Daughter Mass & Breakfast, Christmas tree decorating, baking for the Christmas Cookie Extravaganza, Poinsettia Wreath sale, Sip & Shop, providing helping hands at dances, and leading many of the great HSA events such as the Senior Tea, New Family Welcome and more.
About the HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
The Academy of the Holy Cross Home and School Association (HSA) is the main parent and guardian-run organization that supports our daughters, the faculty and staff, the school and the neighboring community.
Our activities and events reinforce the mission of the school and help build lifelong friendships among parents and guardians as we, together, raise young women of courage, compassion and scholarship.
The HSA has two vital arms the Mothers & Friends Club and the Fathers & Friends Club. These organizations function as social, spiritual and community building opportunities for parents, while giving back to the Holy Cross community that does so much for our daughters.
These groups welcome participation from all parents/guardians of our students. Bring your ideas, energy and desire to build community.
