Students recently joined an all-girls Renewable Energy Lab Challenge organized by Engineering Tomorrow, where they designed solutions connecting renewable energy to the humanitarian side of engineering.

They shared their designs, exchanged ideas with peers, and heard powerful career stories from college mentors and industry leaders—including inspiring role models from our host company, Whiting-Turner.

After completing their designs, students also connected via Zoom with Holy Child in Rye, NY, to share their work and learn from one another.

When young women are given opportunities to collaborate, connect with mentors, and tackle meaningful challenges, the future of engineering becomes more inclusive—and more innovative.
