On Thursday, June 12, the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) hosted its annual Coach of the Year Awards Reception at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. The celebration recognized outstanding coaches from the Fall, Winter, and Spring sports seasons of the 2024–2025 school year. The event was held alongside the WCAC’s End-of-Year Meetings for Heads of Schools and Athletic Directors from across the conference.

The Academy of the Holy Cross is proud to celebrate three of our own who were honored by their coaching peers from across the WCAC:

• Joe McCormick – Ice Hockey

• Carlos Pla – Cross Country

These coaches exemplify the dedication, leadership, and excellence that define Holy Cross athletics. We are proud to see their hard work and impact recognized on a conference-wide stage.
