MADELEVA

Scholars

Rooted in the principles of Catholic Social Teaching and inspired by the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Madeleva Scholars are committed to advancing justice, dignity, and compassion through meaningful community service. A student-led experience, our girls go above and beyond in their service requirements and individual research. They cultivate leadership through extracurricular involvement and complete a capstone project focused on specific social challenges they encounter in their service work over the four-year program.

In the Sancta Crux Honors Program, students in both STEM and Humanities pathways complete a senior capstone project, applying their knowledge to tackle real-world issues or explore areas of personal interest. Through research, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving, they produce a written academic paper and visual presentation, with pathway-specific expectations that reflect the distinct skills of each discipline.
