Sancta Crux Honors Program
The Sancta Crux Honors Program is Holy Cross’s signature four-year academic experience for Presidential Scholars. Students experience exceptional academic challenge and opportunities beyond the classroom by combining advanced coursework with mentorship, leadership, enrichment experiences, and an independent capstone project.
One Program. Two Pathways.
By the end of sophomore year, each scholar selects one of two pathways:
Spes Unica Humanities
For students interested in literature, history, language, culture, the arts, social sciences, and the questions that shape the human experience.
Gillespie STEM
For students interested in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, research, design, and innovation.
Senior Capstone Project
The Sancta Crux experience culminates in an independent capstone project that allows each scholar to investigate a question, problem, or idea connected to her interests. With faculty mentorship, students move from inquiry to research to a final product—and ultimately share their work with the Holy Cross community.
