Every Girl

Is Valued

Every Holy Cross girl knows she is valued as a scholar, an athlete, an artist, and most importantly, an individual with unique talents and aspirations.

Is Empowered

Every Holy Cross girl completes an internship in a career that interests them at prestigious organizations, such as The Washington Post, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, and National Institutes of Health (NIH). And, they receive the tools and the support they need to thrive in college, including at renowned institutions like Cornell, M.I.T., Yale, and Notre Dame.

Is Supported

With layered academic support, advising, and enrichment resources, students are guided to understand their strengths, build effective study habits, and grow with confidence. Support is individualized, intentional, and designed to ensure no student is left without the tools she needs to succeed.

Is Challenged

Our Honors Program invites students into rigorous, enriched learning experiences designed to deepen understanding and inspire intellectual curiosity. Through advanced coursework, discussion-based learning, and opportunities for independent thinking, students are encouraged to push beyond comfort zones and engage more fully with their academic interests.

All-Girls Education Quick Facts from the International Coalition of Girls' Schools

As the little sister and daughter of LOTAs, I experienced the Holy Cross sisterhood long before I became a student myself. I chose Holy Cross because of that sense of belonging, and I love that our community is small enough to know everyone by name while offering the opportunity to connect with so many different people.

Charlotte OwensClass of 2027

My four years in Holy Cross have taught me how to be a leader by giving me so many opportunities both inside and outside my comfort zone to get to support and lead others with my skills and talents. While pursuing all of these opportunities, I knew that I had a great support system and a great support net that I could fall back on while helping others.

Sophia EpshteynClass of 2026

I chose Holy Cross because of the Engineering Program and because I had heard so many wonderful things about the traditions that make our community unique, including ASAs, Junior Ring, Holy Cross Day, and Cookie Day. What I love most, though, is the sisterhood. I've formed friendships through classes and extracurricular activities and have gotten to know so many people outside of my own circle. There is a true sense of support here, and everyone wants to see each other succeed.

Maxine Adofo Class of 2027

My years at Holy Cross have taught me what it means to be a leader by surrounding me with so many great examples, including my teachers, staff members, and fellow students. They have also given me the confidence to trust myself and be assured in my decisions and actions.
