Coaches

Jeff Maynard

JV Head Coach

Coach Maynard is in his 3rd season as the Head Freshman and Junior Varsity Volleyball
Coach. He brings over 40 years of experience to this position as both a player and a coach.
Coach Maynard and Coach Geiser were college teammates on the Cornell University Men’s
Team and played numerous outdoor doubles tournaments together. Most recently Coach
Maynard has served as the U11 Tornadoes coach for the Montgomery Village Sports
Association. Coach Maynard is retired from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory
where he was a thermal design engineer.
Sarah Donnelly

JV Coach

Coach Donnelly is entering her 1st year as the F/JV assistant volleyball coach. Coach
Donnelly played for Montgomery Village Sports Association (MVSA) for seven years and was a four-year varsity athlete for Quince Orchard High School. She is still an avid participant in both indoor and outdoor volleyball. Most recently Coach Donnelly was the head coach for MVSA 13 Bears. Coach Donnelly is currently a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park where she is majoring in accounting.
