Coaches

V Head Coach
Coach Mongelli joined AHC in 2021 as the Head Swim Coach. He brings with him a lengthy background in the sport, where he has coached with Georgetown Prep, Nation’s Capital Swim Club, Aqua Hoya Swim Club, and the Archdiocese of Washington. Coach Mongelli has been coaching at Georgetown Prep for 25 years, and has been the Head Coach for the past 15 years. In 2015 he was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame. He has been awarded WMPSSDL coach of the year three times, most recently in 2019. He was also named All-met Coach of the Year twice, most recently in 2019.

V Assistant Coach
Coach DeGross is an Assistant Coach for our Varsity Softball program. He has been a long-standing volunteer in various roles for the Athletics Department and is the proud father of two Holy Cross graduates, Sienna '20 and Cheyenne '22.
