V Head Coach
Caitlin Smith enters her 1st season as Head Coach of the Tartans having served as a
as Varsity Assistant Coach at the Academy of the Holy Cross for the 2025 season. A familiar face and native of Potomac, MD, Smith has a strong pedigree of lacrosse knowledge and experience and brings an incredible mix of energy and grace in her desire to lead student-athletes.
Smith is a graduate of The Bullis School in Potomac, MD, where she played lacrosse and won Bullis Female Athlete of the Year. She went on to play at Division I Jacksonville University, where she was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman team in 2015. Smith transferred to the University of Delaware, where she continued to excel as a midfielder and draw specialist for the lacrosse team while completing her undergraduate degree.
Smith has extensive experience within the local lacrosse landscape, having previously served as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at The Bullis School. She also served as a Head Coach for Rebels Lacrosse Club and MC Elite Lacrosse Club, in addition to MD Select and DC Metro Lacrosse.
