Happy Valentine's Day!
We all know that Valentine's Day is all about celebrating love. Romantic love. Classroom love. It is now just love, period. One of the primary reasons why I love Holy Cross as much as I do is the love that flows through the halls at 4920 Strathmore Ave., Kensington, MD. We experience it in the kindness, the caring, the empathy, the thoughtfulness, the compassion, the good will which all put together = LOVE. So, on this special day just for celebrating love, I thank you from the core of my heart for being the loving person that you are! MAY GOD MARINADE YOU IN HIS LOVE.
Lolita has just published a book of poetry. Look for Eternal Love: Poems from the First 70 Years on Amazon.

Alumnae Spotlight
Anna-Sophia Capizzi '16 Anna-Sophia is a senior at Haverford College where she is on the pre-med track and majoring in biology with a minor in fine arts. She is a student-athlete, participating on the varsity basketball team. Her team has made it to Centennial Conference playoffs for the past three years, entered the NCAA tournament twice, and won the Centennial Conference Championship in 2019 (and hoping for another one in 2020)! Anna-Sophia writes "My athletic experience at Holy Cross helped prepare me for college athletics in a number of ways. Competing in the WCAC, one of the best basketball conferences in the country, gave me the confidence and preparation required to compete at the college level. Balancing academics and athletics at an academically rigorous high school also equipped me with the skills to pursue a challenging college curriculum while participating in a competitive athletics program."

In a reunion year, alumnae are asked to celebrate their time at Holy Cross and to demonstrate their commitment to the school by making a reunion gift to The Holy Cross Fund. These special reunion gifts set a wonderful example for other alumnae and contribute significantly to the people and programs that enable Holy Cross to continue to provide outstanding an exceptional educational experience for our girls! Make your gift today in honor of your reunion year and show your support to Holy Cross! –Ancient Chinese Proverb For alumnae classes ending in 0's and 5's—start thinking reunions!
