Alumnae Memorial Mass
On Sunday, March 8, The Academy of the Holy Cross hosted the annual Alumnae Memorial Mass honoring those alumnae and alumnae's family members who have passed away over the past year. Over 100 alumnae family members and friends attended. During the Mass, the names of our deceased alumnae were read, and a rose was presented at the altar by a friend, classmate or family member for each alumna. A reception followed the Mass.

I work at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital with Alison Kemp Manders '08 and she has been a leader on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. She is the clinical educator for the emergency department and has been pivotal in all of the emergency planning and staff education. Alison has worked tirelessly over the past few weeks and handled this stressful situation with such grace and poise. She has been a strong advocate for the safety of her staff and patients and truly embodies what it means to be a LOTA." Alison Kemp Manders, husband Patrick and son Dolan.

In a reunion year, alumnae are asked to celebrate their time at Holy Cross and to demonstrate their commitment to the school by making a reunion gift to The Holy Cross Fund. These special reunion gifts set a wonderful example for other alumnae and contribute significantly to the people and programs that enable Holy Cross to continue to provide outstanding an exceptional educational experience for our girls! Make your gift today in honor of your reunion year and show your support to Holy Cross! –Ancient Chinese Proverb For alumnae classes ending in 0's and 5's—start thinking reunions! If you are a class representative or simply willing to help organize a gathering, the Alumnae Office is happy to assist!
It's never too early to start finding your Holy Cross classmates to organize your class reunion!
We know that reunions are important celebrations and that reconnecting with our friends is a very special opportunity to share memories, stories, and family photos. Of course, hugs are very important as well and since we are in a unique period of social distancing it's difficult to plan a reunion expecting everyone to stay six feet apart! Therefore, we ask for your flexibility during this time and ask that you reschedule your event to a later date. Class of 1970 50th Reunion
In the event that the Holy Cross graduation is changed, the Class of '70 is making alternate reunion plans. Details to follow as soon as possible.
