Cheyenne DeGross ’22 Commits to Play Softball at George Mason University

Cheyenne DeGross ’22 has verbally committed to play softball at George Mason University. Cheyenne has been on the Holy Cross varsity softball team since freshman year when she earned the MVP award at the Churchill Invitational, a WCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention, and the Co-MVP award. In the same year, she also played varsity tennis and varsity basketball at Holy Cross.

Cheyenne has been a member of the MLB MoCo RBI program through which she won the distinguished Jennie Finch Empowerment Award and Arm & Hammer college scholarship. She is a member of one of the VA Glory 18u National travel teams, and is also currently part of the USA Softball High Performance Program Region 2 pool with hopes of one day representing the United States on the Olympic softball team. 

In addition to her athletics commitment, Cheyenne is a student leader serving in several clubs including Student Council. Cheyenne is excited to catch in her last year of softball at Holy Cross. She plans to major in communications in college and is looking forward to a bright future as a Patriot!
