Class of 2022 Sancta Crux and Madeleva Scholars Recognized for Their Achievements

On Monday, April 25 Holy Cross recognized the Class of 2022 Sancta Crux and Madeleva Scholars at an evening ceremony. After an opening prayer read by Laura Marra ’22, Assistant Principal and Sancta Crux Scholars Moderator Lindsay Tonks welcomed the scholars and their family members. Erin McLaughlin ’22 shared about her experience as a Sancta Crux Scholar followed by an overview of the Madeleva Scholars program by Moderator of the Madeleva Scholars Program Dr. Megan Minogue. Hannah Cameron ’22, Adrianna Monzon-Osorio ’22, and Megan Steele ’22 each shared about their experience with the Madeleva Scholar research project. All remarked about how rewarding it was to research a topic and although it was challenging, they were all grateful for the opportunity. After the scholars received their honor cords and ribbons, President Katy Prebble concluded the program with remarks about the impressive career of Sister Mary Madeleva (Wolff), CSC.
