Alumna Dior Richards ’00 was the featured speaker at a Sancta Crux Scholars seminar on Wednesday, April 14. Dior discussed food insecurity and its effect especially on people of color. Dior is VP of Business Development & Sales at Something Better Foods, Inc., which she co-founded with two close friends. During the virtual seminar, the students in the Sancta Crux Scholars program along with their faculty mentors split into breakout rooms to discuss the topic and brainstorm possible ways to address food insecurity from several different perspectives. To conclude the seminar the group came back together to share the ideas they had discussed.
