Welcome Faith Randolph, Head Basketball Coach

The Academy of the Holy Cross is excited to announce the next Head Coach of the basketball program is Faith Randolph. Coach Randolph has been immersed in basketball, having played high school basketball in the WCAC. She went on to play college basketball at the University of Virginia, where she finished top 20 in all-time scoring for the Women’s Basketball Program. She earned all-conference accolades including 2014 ACC Sixth Player of the Year and 2015 All-ACC Second Team. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Coach Randolph played for three years professionally overseas in Finland, Lebanon, and Greece.

Most recently Coach Randolph has worked as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Washington Liberty HS in Arlington, VA for the last three years. She is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in the National Strength Conditioning Association. In addition, Coach Randolph works with youth boys’/girls’ basketball players in the DMV area and organizes a free youth basketball clinic each year for underprivileged kids. She focuses on fundamentals, defense, shooting mechanics, and a variety of offensive tools. She continues to teach and help up-and-coming players through her coaching, training, and basketball camps.

Coach Randolph has a passion for teaching young basketball players the proper mechanics of playing the game because she understands how it can emulate significant life lessons and bring forth many opportunities for players. We are thrilled to see Coach Randolph on our court!

We want to thank Coach Gray for all of his efforts over the last few years. We are grateful for all that he has done for the program and wish him the best of luck.
