On Wednesday, May 1, the Holy Cross community participated in the second Day of Service. Groups of students, faculty and staff cleaned, gardened, organized, visited, painted, and assisted at 20 different organizations in the Washington area. Similar to last year, each class and the faculty/staff wore Day of Service shirts in a specific color. The shirt artwork was designed by Rose Weisgerber '20. After an all-school breakfast, organized by the Holy Cross Fathers Club, groups headed out by bus and Metro to site locations.
Emily Teter, Director of the Holy Cross Social Justice Office, works for months organizing all aspects of the Day of Service for Holy Cross.
