About the Camp
This camp is open to all players who are rising 7th – 12th graders and designed to prepare them for their upcoming Fall seasons. Campers will be placed in appropriate groups based on their current level of play and individual needs so as to create the most beneficial environment for improvement possible.
Camp curriculum includes a progression from the basics to the more advanced topics and rooted in four main areas of focus.
Technical – an emphasis on perfecting the fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, passing/receiving, heading, and shooting.
Tactical – detailed instruction on player positioning and roles within team attacking and defending scenarios.
Possession – small-sided games to stress the massive importance of maintaining possession of the ball.
Soccer-specific speed training and fitness – conditioning that will ensure each player to be in top shape when entering her Fall season.
