The Academy of the Holy Cross gives students the opportunity to experience new cultures whenever possible. We promote travel to instill in our girls a global context for the needs of other countries and provide service to alleviate those needs. They have formative experiences that complement their classroom studies and provide a new perspective they will keep for life. They speak the local language, value cultural differences, and witness the effects of climate change. Travel enables our students to become women who understand the interconnectedness of humanity and who responsibly meet the social, spiritual and intellectual challenges of the world.
