  • Head Coach

    Pedro Paz has spent the last two years as the Head JV Soccer Coach at Holy Cross where he amassed several winning seasons in the WCAC. Previously, he spent three years establishing the Kenmoor Middle School boys’ team as a force in their 32 team league from last to a semifinal appearance. During that stint, he also spent two seasons as a coach at Dematha Catholic High School with the academy teams and the WCAC teams. Paz holds the United States Soccer Federation D Soccer License and degrees from Auburn University and the University of Maryland.

    Born in Brazil, soccer has always has been a major part of his life. Time has brought him even closer to the sport as he has dedicated a great deal of time to studying and coaching the game.

    Christine is entering her first year on the coaching staff at Holy Cross. She graduated from Salisbury University in 2016 where she played soccer for 4 years, and she is an AHC graduate, class of 2012. Christine is excited to come back home to Holy Cross where some of her soccer routes started!

Winter Sports Recognition

On Thursday, March 7, Holy Cross recognized athletes who played on winter sports teams. Each coach presented Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, and Tartan awards during the main program and gave individual recognitions in breakout gatherings. Holy Cross especially recognized Coach Kyran Kennedy, who built the Ice Hockey program at Holy Cross beginning in 2011. Athletic Director Dena Rapoport noted that 272 Holy Cross girls have played on the Ice Hockey team. In 2016 the Ice Hockey team won the MAGHL and this year the team took second place in the inaugural WCAC Ice Hockey Championship.
