Winter Sports Recognition

On Thursday, March 7, Holy Cross recognized athletes who played on winter sports teams. Each coach presented Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, and Tartan awards during the main program and gave individual recognitions in breakout gatherings. Holy Cross especially recognized Coach Kyran Kennedy, who built the Ice Hockey program at Holy Cross beginning in 2011. Athletic Director Dena Rapoport noted that 272 Holy Cross girls have played on the Ice Hockey team. In 2016 the Ice Hockey team won the MAGHL and this year the team took second place in the inaugural WCAC Ice Hockey Championship.
