Head Coach, Swimming
Assistant CoachCoach Dean is a science teacher a Holy Cross. This is her first year helping out with swim team. Coach Dean began swimming at the age of 8 for the Severn Crossing Stingrays and just fell in love with the sport. She swam for 10 years as a Stingray and participated on winter teams where she became a leader and very competitive swimmer. At 16 she had her first hip surgery which prevented her from competing that year. She couldn’t stay away from pool so she acted as volunteer coach for the 8 and Under age group. From there Coach Dean became the Assistant Coach for Severn Crossing (3 years) and eventually the Co-Head Coach, a position she held for five years. Coach Dean currently is the Head Coach for the Kingfish Swim Club in the PMSL (2 years).
