  • Coach Melissa (McMahon) Eaton, AHC Class of 1988 is excited to be returning where she started her field hockey career. As an alum she is appreciative for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and reputation of the AHC field hockey program. She is coming from a professional career in sales for the last 29 years. During this time, she has developed, implemented and coached sports programs in field hockey, tennis and basketball. Currently holding a position in the Warhawks Field Hockey Club as the U19 Age Group Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator getting girls to the next level of play. She is motivated by sports and loves when students realize sports can teach them to be more organized and can humble them on their journey in life.

  • After graduating from The Academy of the Holy Cross in 2010, Kellie Looney started her college career playing Division III Lacrosse at SUNY Cortland in upstate New York. While at Cortland, the team advanced to the Final Four. She finished up her degree at the University Maryland in College Park. While attending Holy Cross, Kellie moved up the ranks in Lacrosse from Junior Varsity to Varsity, earning WCAC Honorable Mention in both her Junior and Senior years. A loyal Tartan, Kellie comes from a long line of Lacrosse players and is excited to come back to Holy Cross year after year.





Winter Sports Recognition

On Thursday, March 7, Holy Cross recognized athletes who played on winter sports teams. Each coach presented Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, and Tartan awards during the main program and gave individual recognitions in breakout gatherings. Holy Cross especially recognized Coach Kyran Kennedy, who built the Ice Hockey program at Holy Cross beginning in 2011. Athletic Director Dena Rapoport noted that 272 Holy Cross girls have played on the Ice Hockey team. In 2016 the Ice Hockey team won the MAGHL and this year the team took second place in the inaugural WCAC Ice Hockey Championship.
