Holy Cross Summer Programs

Set your middle school student up for success on the High School Placement Test, required by many DC-area Catholic schools. With guided instruction, students work through a provided prep book and take a full practice test at the end of the week. Students will take home their book at the end of the week.

Morning Session: 8:30 - 11:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 12:00 - 3:00 PM
Open to: Co-ed students entering Grades 7-8
Cost: $300.00A minimum class size is required for each session.

Join us for an exciting week with Holy Cross’ Vex Robotics team! Engage in hands-on workshops to design, build, and program robots. Foster creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills while encouraging exploration of STEM fields. Perfect for both beginners and those with some experience to connect with peers and fuel their passion for robotics and technology! Please note that lunch will not be provided, and refrigerator access will not be available.

Application Academy is a hands-on, energizing three-day program that jump-starts the college application process before senior year even begins. With the support of college admission professionals from across the country, students will:

• Build a polished Common App with step-by-step guidance
• Get personalized feedback on their college essay in 1:1 sessions with college admission counselors
• Set up and begin working on the SRAR (Self-Reported Academic Record)
• Participate in a mock application review with college admissions counselors
• Learn interview tips and even try a mock interview
• Attend engaging sessions with Q&A led by college reps

Open to: Class of 2027 only
